hii, for SC candidtaes you need to have 85 percentile

m getting 40-50 marks. can i get into iit?? or in prepatory course..m a st candidate.

There is no separate cut off for SC candidates in IIT-JEE.

The cut off will be decided on the basis of number of candidates attended for IIT-JEE.

Hence there is no such separate cut- off for the candidates of SC.

Prepare well and crack the exam.

There is no specific or a separate cut off for the SC/ST candidates.

The cut off changes every year, and that for the SC/ST depends on the no.of candidates

and the no.of seats reserved.There is a specific no.of seats of reserved for the SC/ST,

and if they are not alloted, then candidates with lower marks can grab them.

So it is best to prepare hard to crack th exam.Dont depend on reservations.

Hi ,

there is no seperate cut off for SC ST candidate in the IIT JEE exam.
this is depends only the final result and on the no. of candidates. however they will get benefit after the final result declared.

Actually cut off depends on various other factors like difficul etc.last year cut 4 sc was 160 but it may have gone down due to cancelation etc.

according to yur query ,it is very difficult to say what is the cut off mark.

It can be based on the no.of peoples to write the exam.

So its better to get good percentage.

TO get admission in any IITs you have atleast 35 marks out of 100 in GATE examination. If you get 35 up marks then your score become 450 which valid score for get admission in any IITs.

there is no fixed cut off for the sc students in iit jee exam.
every year they change the minimum marks required to qualify the exam.
but it is sure that the minimum marks required by sc students will be less than that required be the general category student but exam cut off is never declared by the authorities of iit jee exam.
