Dear friend this is depend on no. of candidate how much scoring in the exam then cut-off selected by board of IIT exam this is not decided previous because if NO.of SC student is less then seat is vacant then cut-off may be less.Minimum marks should required if you can score good marks in IIT then you get good college.

Cutoff for SC candidate in IIT is 69(last year).

Actually cut off depends on various other factors like difficul etc.last year cut 4 sc was 160 but it may have gone down due to cancelation etc.

My gate score is 275.which college should i expect.

my friend the cut off of iit gate exam changes from year to year , its cut off depends on number of students appeared in exam , level of questions set and average scoring in exam.

my last year gate pecentile was 15.33, can i get admission in any nit or iit,,,,

SC candidate ppl have lottery.. No skills required. Just appear for the exam and u get a seat..

Hi,

Getting admission in IIT for SC candidates depend on:-

- no. of candidate appearing in exam

- then cut-off selected by board of IIT exam for SC category.

- if your marks are above cut-off and good enough then definitely you will get admission in IIT.

yes only ur mother & sister only have skill , i.e. about 90% sc people have no food , clothes & shelter , if only 10% appear then only they will be getting the seat by clearing their category cutoff. AS UR MOTHER HAS CONTINUING THE CASTE SYSTEM IN INDIA.

you need to be under 1000 rank(for sc/st) to get iits.
so its better to apply in nit's. chance for getting nits is also less with this mark.

Well this is depends on cutoff marks this years. But i last year 45 marks SC/ST candidate can get admission in IIT. So this year there is some increments in cutoffs.

There is no as such separate cut off for SC candidate and moreover it depends upon how many students
applied in that year for gate
to get good college you should have good percentile

there is no provision for seperate cut off for SC ST candidate in the IIT JEE exam, however they will get benefit after the final result declared as the will get redemption in the cutoff but if you want better college then you have to score higher marks.

It is very difficult to say about cut off list of IIT,

it depends upon the number of student appearing in the exam.

And type of question paper was given in the particular year.

Every year it gets change. because of above mentioned factors.
