My Aieee all India rank is 59545 and state rank is 2686 in OBC.Can I get admission in any NIT ? or any good college i.e.GSITS OR davv INDORE

If not then which college i will get ? My branch should be either electronics or civil or mechanical .

Dear friend yes you will get a seat surely in any NIT in spot counseling,then you should try............

Because your AIEEE rank is not good but you can get a seat in any NIT.............

You always check on every NIT Closing rank and then go for counseling...........

Your rank is on the lower end of the spectrum. So, its a little difficult to get a confirmed seat. However, because of your OBC category, you might manage one of the lower NITs in the last counselling rounds. NIT Srinagar, Hamirpur, Goa are possible options.

However, you many not get the branches you want. You might have to compromise in that. Even then, any branch in any NIT is good enough and well appreciated by the industry.

Except for Agartala, Manipur and Goa are out of option for AIR 59k(obc)..

It is Good that you have preferred certain branches but the Ironical thing is you don't get a good college with those branches in your mind.

You have to options:

1) Either drop those options (branches) from your mind and accept what comes your way in the AIEEE counselling Procedure. Because any branch in NIT's/IIT's are always preferred first rather than local engineering colleges.

2) Having those branches in mind, You can opt for any local college Through your state CET and Pursue your Dreams in them. Not losing your passions atleast.

Its all upto you how you carry on in these four years. Just Keep The placements in mind..

As far as my knowledge is concerned there are 10 to 15% seats reserved in SGSITS/DAVV. You May try it out there too..

hii friend...here i can help you.....as you have obc category you can get seat in some of the nit's like NIT SILCHAR...NIT ARUNACHAL PRADESH..etc....you can check the cutoffs in the following official site.........

Sir this is my rank All india Rank BE/BTech is Overall 328779 and Category(OBC) wise 95967,for BArch Overall 56343 and Category(OBC) 14019 If i see my state Rank BE/BTech is Overall 48981 and Category(OBC) wise 15696,for BArch Overall 4356 and Category(OBC) is 1048, Suggest me Plz. what is my scene.

First of all i would like to tell you that all the NITs get filled up upto an all india overall rank of 40000. So keeping that in mind i feel very sorry to say that you wont be able to seek admission in any of the NITs through AIEEE counselling. even your state OBC rank is high. But you can seek admission in some of the best private colleges in your state with your AIEEE rank.

Dear Friend i am not fully sure that you wll get a seat into the NIT or not but i will personally recommend you to visit the NIT website and d try and get the information required. You should also check the cutoff list for admission in the NITs as it will surely help you a lot. Since you belong to the OBC category and your rank is as average you might have a chance of going into the NIT. So you can clear your doubt as i have suggested. Best of Luck with your admission.
