Re: Admission procedure to BBA colleges?
There are many BBA colleges in India but than you need to find out which all colleges are recognized. Another important thing you need to take care is to understand the financials than u would be investing bcoz Industry mostly doesnt differentiate between Bcom and BBA. Their are many colleges in Mumbai which provide BMS degree which is equivalent to BBA and well recognized by University of mumbai and aictee too. Very few colleges in India teach business (bba) well enough in India. Most of them are either centralised or state university masters departments which provide bachelors as an additional course. There is just five bits of advice that I would want to give to juniors. -Never ever go for any BBA college which doesn't conduct an examination. -Go for University Departments or renowned colleges (and not merely affiliated ones). -Check Passouts, faculty and their past work. -Renowned Government Universities are better off. -try and learn things beyond the scope of curriculum because thats the entire point of studying business. Another positive thing to look out for is less number of seats. I myself passed out from a university department where there were only 36 general seats and student to professor ratio was very very high and all that helps. a little bit of warning- try and not go for bba rankings because they are almost completely rigged. Please do your own research about colleges. Very few private colleges give quality bba degrees in comparision to the 50+ year old government departments which furnish better degrees at 1/20th the cost. If possible then just try and join the Departments of Business in Delhi University, Calcutta University, Utkal University, Mumbai University and such state universities only. Apart from the departments of government universities, a few like universities St.xaviers give a good bba education. ELIGIBLITY:- 12th Class (10+2)/Intermediate Duration:- 3 years Full Time. Documents Required For the Admission in BBA(Bachelor of Business Administration) :- 10th Mark Sheet. (Self Attested copy) 12th Mark sheet.(Self Attested copy) Transfer certificate/Leaving Certificate.(Original) Original or Provisional 12th Certificate.(Self Attested copy) Admissions will be made based on the qualifying marks (Intermediate/+2 Marks) on merit basis. BBA Rankings : 1. Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies 2. Symbiosis Center for Management Studies (UG) 3. NMIMS, School of Commerce 4. SP Jain Center for Management 4. St.Xavier's, Kolkata 5. BBE, Delhi University 6. Christ College, Bangalore 7. BMS/BBM University of Mumbai 8. ICFAI, Hyderabad 9. Amity Business School, Noida 10. GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi |
