Re: Age criteria to apply for NEET exam? Is NEET syllabus different from AIPMT?
NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is a national level common entrance examination for admission in MBBS/BDS degree course from any medical college across India.
--> The minimum qualification required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are going to appear in the same examination. Further age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for reserved category candidate. * You must have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for reserved category candidate. Also as far as you are concerned about the syllabus of NEET then yes it is similar to that which was for AIPMT which covers the each topic of NCERT textbooks of Class XI and Class XII of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For more information regarding NEET you can log on to the link www.aipmt.nic.in. |

Re: Age criteria to apply for NEET exam? Is NEET syllabus different from AIPMT?
The minimum age required for the candidate to be eligible to appear in NEET examination is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of examination. The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of examination and upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates.
The NEET examination syllabus is not different from the AIPMT examination syllabus. Both examinations syllabus are same, being a 12th standard PCB passed candidate, you are eligible to apply for NEET examination. |
