If your age is more then 25 years as on 31th December 2011 then you are not eligible for EAMCET-2011 exam because the eligibility criteria for EAMCET exam : For Engineering and pharmacy courses the candidate should be at least 16 years of age and for the other courses the candidate should be between 17 to 25 years of age on 31th December 2011. EAMCET is only open for the candidate belonging to Andhra Pradesh.

Criteria Of Age Limit
a) In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions or on such other
date as may be notified by the common entrance test committee. There is no upper age limit.

b) In the case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) offered in Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural
University, candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the
candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

To appear in EAMCET 2011 Engineering Entrance exams, you have to passed in your 12th classwith Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

So, if you are interested to apply for either engineering OR pharmacy courses, then your age should be atleast 16 years. But if you are interested to apply for any other courses, then you should be between 17-25 years of age.

So, after 16 year of age you are eligible to appear the EAMCET entrance examinations for engineering courses. So, if you are really interested in this exams and you are belong to Andhra Pradesh, then you are eligible to apply for this exams.

dear friend there is age limit for this exam is 17-25 yrs. that's why you can apply only on this age.there is some age relaxation is for reserved category candidates a per given by the government rule.

There is no upper age limit for writing this Exam and Minimum is 16 years of age. Being a 25 years Still Yes you can write Eamcet Exam.

Eligibility criteria for EAMCET examination is as follows:

1) The minimum age should be 16 years at the time of

Date of Birth
The candidates having age up to 25 are only eligible. Those having age above 25 years are not eligible.

Relaxation
There is a relaxation in age for the candidates having reservation like SC, ST and PD. There is a relaxation of 5 years for such candidates.

So you can apply for the IIT-JEE examination next year only. You are not eligible for this year.\

There are four courses in which you can take admission based on EAMCET Ranking and these courses are :

1. B.Tech in Engineering/Bio-Technology.
2. B.sc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Veterinary Science/Food Technology.
3. M.B.B.S/B.D.S .
4. BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.

Educational qualification for the above listed course :

1. For Engineering/Bio-Technology - Candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination from recognized board/university with Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics and Biology as Optional subject.
2. For Medical/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/Agricultural Science courses - Candidates should be passed out in Higher Secondary/Inter examination from recognized university/board with Physics,Chemistry and Biology will be eligible to take admission in these courses.

Marks required :

• Candidates from Karnataka state belonging to General and OBC category should have a minimum of 50% marks and for SC & ST category 45% marks in Higher Secondary Examination.
• Candidates who are from Outside Karnataka should have a minimum of 60% marks in Higher Secondary Examination.

Age Limit :

1. For Engineering course - not above 25 years.
2. For Bio-Technology course - Minimum 17 years and not above 24 years.
