My date of Birth is 10/12/1987 comes under OBC can i apply CGL 2015 for the post SI in CBI?

As per recent announcement, the upper age limit of various posts in CGL, 2014 has been relaxed by SSC .

For SI in CBI, it is 20 -30 years. Earlier it was 18 -27 years.

So, you are eligible for SSC CGL 2015.

SSC stands for the Staff Selection Commission. If you want to apply for SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) exam then, you must meet the following educational and age criteria.

Eligibility:

Common educational criteria required for most of the posts of SSC CGL is at least graduation in any discipline from the recognized university.

Candidates who are pursuing in their final year of graduation are not eligible to sit for this exam. Only those candidates are eligible who have already completed their bachelor degree before form filling.

For SI & CBI post age limit has been revised. For these posts candidates age should be between 20 to 30 years.

However, age relaxation for reserved categories are applicable on upper age. For OBC category it is up to +3 years, for SC/ST category up to +5 years.

Candidates who are applying for the post of SI or CBI then, they should be physically as well as mentally strong otherwise they will be rejected.

Height for male candidates should be at least 157.5 Cm and for female candidate it should be 152 cm.

Minimum Chest expansion 5 cm.

SSC CGL means Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination. The essential requirements required in order to appear for the exam:

1.Educational Qualification:

>>You must have done your bachelor's degree in any discipline or in final year of it from a recognized university.

2.Age criteria:

The age criteria is different for different posts.

>>For the assistant posts, it is between 20-27 years.

>>For SI ( Sub Inspector) posts in CBI , it is between 20-30 years. This age limit was recently revised by the commission.

>>For all other remaining posts: 18-27 years.

For OBC candidates and SC , there is upper age relaxation of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates.

So, there is nothing to worry, you are eligible for the exam. Once notifications are out, you can apply for the exam at ssconline.nic.in

For apply SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Final year student can also eligible to apply for it.

Age limit:-

Age should be between 20 years to 27 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

- Written Exam

- Interview

Age limit in SSC CGL 2015 is 20 to 30 year for SI and CBI posts. so if your age lies between these criteria then you are eligible for this examination.

My date of birth is 24th June 1986 i am presently running 29 and will appear for ssc cgl this year i wanted to know that can i apply for ssc cgl next year?

My date of birth is 21 November 1982 , am i eligible for the SI selection for CBI
