Age limit of SSC CGL 2015 for SI and CBI posts?
Dear Sir,
My date of Birth is 10/12/1987 comes under OBC can i apply CGL 2015 for the post SI in CBI? |

As per recent announcement, the upper age limit of various posts in CGL, 2014 has been relaxed by SSC .
For SI in CBI, it is 20 -30 years. Earlier it was 18 -27 years. So, you are eligible for SSC CGL 2015. |

SSC CGL means Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination. The essential requirements required in order to appear for the exam:
1.Educational Qualification: >>You must have done your bachelor's degree in any discipline or in final year of it from a recognized university. 2.Age criteria: The age criteria is different for different posts. >>For the assistant posts, it is between 20-27 years. >>For SI ( Sub Inspector) posts in CBI , it is between 20-30 years. This age limit was recently revised by the commission. >>For all other remaining posts: 18-27 years. For OBC candidates and SC , there is upper age relaxation of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. So, there is nothing to worry, you are eligible for the exam. For apply SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
Final year student can also eligible to apply for it. Age limit:- Age should be between 20 years to 27 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Selection procedure:- - Written Exam - Interview |
