Hi, I have completed my BCA and now I wish to do MA Criminology. Am I eligible for it? Is BCA acceptable by colleges for admission in MA Criminology? Which are other good options available for me for Master's?

To be eligible for pursuing MA in Criminology, student should have completed Bachelor course in one of the following subjects like:

• Public Administration
• Political Science
• History
• Psychology
• Economics
• Sociology
• Social Work
• Criminology
• Anthropology, etc.

Apart from these bachelor courses. Police officers who are graduates with ten years of their service, are also considered eligible for pursuing MA in Criminology course.

Since, you have done BCA course, so you cannot apply for MA Criminology course.

As you have done BCA course, so you can do Masters course in following subjects/streams:

• Master of Computer Applications(MCA)
• Information Security Management (ISM)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Masters Degree in Information Management (MIM)
• Masters in Computer Management (MCM)
• Post Graduate Program in Corporate Studies (PGPCS)
