Yes, you are eligible for B.Ed. Graduates/post graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply. Admission to the course is done either on the basis of entrance exams or qualifying exam marks. UP B.Ed is one of the common entrance tests. Delhi University, Osmania University, etc conducts entrance exam for selection.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.ED ENTRANCE EXAM: **Candidate must complete Graduation in any stream with the recognized university **In graduation general candidates score minimum 50% marks **ST/SC/OBC students score minimum 45% marks **Only science,arts,BBA students eligible for this course **There is no age limit for this exam **Every university conducts suppurate entrance exam for this B.ed course... thank you.......................... |

B.ed stands for the Bachelor of education.The eligibility criteria for the B.ed are given a s below: >>You must have bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks in it . Final year candidates are also eligible for the B.ed entrance test. Friend ,you have mentioned that you have secured 50% marks in Master of arts ,I would like to tell you that marks secured in master's degree have no importance for the B.ed entrance test what matters is that you must have 50% marks in graduation .I hope you understand. B.ed can be done in both regular as well as distance that is correspondence mode .The minimum age limit is 21 years for doing this course. For regular b.ed the upper age limit is restricted to 28 years .However for the distance it has no upper age limit. The entrance test for the B.ed generally consists of questions from: >>General english(comprehensive) >>General awareness >>Teaching aptitude test >>Maths >>Reasoning Some of the best universities for the B.ed courses: >>IGNOU >>Sikkim Manipal university >>Delhi University >>Osmania University >>CCS university. You can do this course if you have the following qualifications : * you should have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university. * You must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. So , No matter whether you have 50% marks in M.A. or more , to be eligible for B.Ed course , you need a minimum of 50% marks in Graduation. This course is generally for those candidates who want to become teachers in government schools or want to appear in the Teacher`s Eligibility Test.
