i m eligible for bank clerk exam after 12th. i want to join as bank clerk instead of going to higher studies.

The minimum qualification with which a candidate can appear for Bank Clerk Exam is through 12th class qualification.

The selection procedure for Bank Clerk Exam will be by
-Written Test
-Interview

In order to be eligible for Bank Clerk Exam,one should have to secure the minimum percentage as mentioned in the recruitment notification of the Bank.

Some banks put minimum of 55% in 12th as the eligibility criteria where as some other banks put a minimum of 60% in 12th as the eligible criteria.

There will be somer relaxation in the percentage of marks for the candiates of SC and ST.

So, I would suggest you to go through the recruitment notification for clerks of the particular bank whenever the notification comes and apply for the exam if you are eligible.

->For candidates who belong to SC/St category the y should have 21-35 years.

->For candidates who belong to OBC they must have 21-33 years.

->The candidates must have a passed their +2 from a recognized board with 55% aggregate and this may change from bank-bank.

If you satisfy all the criteria's then you are eligible for the bank clerical exam.

Yes , after 10+2 you are eligible for BANK CLERICAL EXAM . But if you can fulfill the given below criteria.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BANK CLERK EXAM:-

1) You must be completed 10+2 with any stream . But you 10+2 percentage must be above 55.

2)Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

The main key subject for BANK CLERK exam is maths ,english and general knowledge.

So you can prepare for all above subject.

But for that you have to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the exam .

The eligibility criteria for Bank Clerk Exam -

eligiblity to seat in exam of bank clerk is not only passed 12th. many bank has eligiblity criteria that you should pass 12th minimum of 60%. so if you got this marks then you are definetly eligible for all bank clerk exams.

The Minimum Educational Qualification that is required to be eligible to appear in the bank clerical exams is :

* you must have passed 12th in any stream from any recognized board with a minimum of 55% marks.

So, If you have passed the 12th board examination with marks above 55% , then you are eligible to sit in the banking clerical exams other wise not.

However , you have to consider on the other eligibility criteria too to ensure your eligibility :

a) Age Limit : 18-28 years.

b) Nationality : Indian

c) Age Relaxation :

* For OBC Category : 3 yrs.

* For SC/ST Category : 5 years.

YES, now you have to be a Graduate to apply for the Clerks Jobs in Banks

Earlier even class 12th pass students can apply for the Clerk exams.

Below is the latest Eligibilty Criteria to apply for the Clerks Posts in Indian Government Banks:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years

Being a candidate who have completed 12th standard you are eligible for the clerical exam conducted by the State bank of India but you are not eligible for the clerk exam conducted by the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection because the minimum educational qualification required is Graduation.But i advise you to complete graduation in whatever the stream you like because there are many opportunities after the completion of graduation. So I recommend you to study Graduation the stream you are interested. The eligibility details of the clerical exam are mentioned below:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• You must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
• Must have at least 21 years of age.
• The maximum age upto which a candidate can apply is 28 years.
• Upper age relaxation is provided for the reserved category candidates.

The exam pattern consists of a written test and an interview.The written test is an objective test.There are five sections,each section consists of 50 questions with each question carrying one mark.The five sections are based on

• Quantitative Aptitude
• Numerical Ability

These are the topics the sections are based on and one thing you must remember is you need to qualify in all the sections for becoming eligible for the Interview.If you fail to get qualifying marks in at least one section then you are not eligible for the interview.
