Re: Am I eligible to become a Lecturer after MBA?
For college lectureship you will have to apply for National Eligibility Test by the University Grants Commission. The NET exam is conducted two times in a year. Only after clearing NET exam you can get a lecturer job in a government college.
To apply for NET exam you should meet the following criteria:- Eligibility criteria:- You should be Indian citizen. Post graduation degree in any discipline. Minimum of 55% marks. At least 50% marks are required for SC/ST. Final year students can also apply. There is no limit on number of attempts. Age limit for JRF:- For JRF, the age limit is 28 years. It is relaxed for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST. There is no age limit for college lecturership. |

Re: Am I eligible to become a Lecturer after MBA?
--- As you have completed MBA hence, you should apply for college lectureship.
There would be requirement of no additional course if you want to become lecturer in government college and it would be better than you apply for lecturer rather than school teacher. For college lectureship to you will have to apply for National Eligibility Test by the University Grants Commission. The national Eligibility Test is conducted two times in a year. Only after clearing National Eligibility Test you can get lecturer job in government college. --- Official website http://ugcnet.nta.nic.in |

Re: Am I eligible to become a Lecturer after MBA?
To become a lecturer you must have to appear for the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC.
It requires you should have the post graduate degree in any stream with having 55% marks from a recognised University. If you are from the SC/ ST category or you are physically handicapped then 50% marks in post graduate degree is the minimum requirement. There is no upper age limit for the Lectureship, so you can apply for it at any age. You can also go for MPhil, it opens extra opportunities for you. |

Yes, you are eligible. You can become a professional lecturer after MBA in any subject in which you have done your specialization. You need to appear for NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET (State Eligibility Test) to become a lecturer/professor at Colleges and Universities.

Eligibility Criteria required to become Lecturer:
The basic eligibility criteria required to become Lecturer is as follows, >> Candidates must have completed Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university for General Category Candidates. >> The percentage required would be just 50% marks in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD..etc., category candidates. >> As you are pursuing B.Sc in Final Year, I suggest you to first concentrate well on Graduation and then go for Master's Degree which MBA (Master of Business Administration) course. >> Hence, you can definitely apply for Lecturer profile jobs after completion of MBA having good command over concepts. |
