Am I eligible to become an pilot after completion of 10th standard?


Am I eligible to become an pilot after completion of 10th standard? What is the steps I need to follow now to get the job? Can you please guide me with the complete information on the same as soon as possible? Awaiting for the quick response.

# It is not possible to become a pilot merely on the basis of educational qualification of matriculation.


# Required educational qualification for the training/course of pilot:

* 10+2 in science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 50-60% marks in aggregate.
* Candidate must be above the age of 17 years.
* Candidate must fulfil the prescribed physical and medical fitness level set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).


# Pilot training or course includes:

* CPL - Commercial Pilot License
* SPL - Student Pilot License
* PPL - Private Pilot License


# It is required that candidate should do following number of hours:

* 60 hours for PPL - Private Pilot License
* 200 hours for CPL - Commercial Pilot License
* there is no any specified number of hours for SPL - Student Pilot License as it is the basic step to start the career.
