Am I eligible for BITS after scoring 80% in 12 board?

Don't worry . They need an aggregate 80% marks in physics,chemistry and mathematics and you have 80% marks so there is no need to worry .Don't worry they will not ask you for 80% in all physics, chemistry and mathematics separately.

I am happy to inform you that you are eligible for B.I.T entrance exam.
You got in all three subject is 80%.
B.I.T entrance exam is national level exam.
If you age is lees then 17 year then you are not eligible for exam.

The paper consist of physics, chemistry, English and maths.

there is no age limit ..so mr vikas jha even if the applicant isnt 17,he is still eligible..n yes you are eligible for bitsat..dont you worry..

BITSAT - Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test

As you may know that BITS Pilani is one of the top colleges for Engineering and Science courses in India and is ranked among the top 10 colleges in the rankings. So there are a lot of students who wish to take part in this examination.

But I must say when it comes to the Eligibility Criteria that ALL the other entrances have i.e 60% or more but for the BITSAT its quite tough. The Basic Eligibility Criteria that every candidate must fulfill in order to take the test are as follows :-

1. You should be a minimum 12th pass/appeared from a recognized school or state board. Results awaiting candidates can apply also, but if they do not satisfy the criteria mentioned in 2. then their application would be rejected.

2. The candidate should score a minimum 75% aggregate in his/her Higher Secondary. Till last year it was 80% only, but from this year its reduced down to 75% only.

3. A basic computer knowledge is also required as the exam is conducted Online. Also the candidate should have very good communication skills.

4. Only Science (PCM) candidates can apply for the exam as these are the compulsory subjects on which you would be tested.

Now talking of your applicability, I would say SURELY You are eligible for the BITS 2012/2013, though the BITSAT 2013 Notification is not out yet. Thus you have to wait for it..

The paper would be questioning you on the various topics on Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics. To know more Click Here

Yes,You will Eligible to take Admission in BITS Pilani as er your given marks details.

In order to take Admission,you will have to fulfill these Eligibility

Educational qualification :-

• You must be passed out in your 10+2 education from recognized board/university.

Marks :-

• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 60%.
• Your Aggregate Marks in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics should be 75% in 10+2.

Other Important details for Admission :-

• You must be able to write,read and speak in English.
• You will have to get pass and should have a valid rank in BITSAT Exam.

Eligibilty for the BITSAT exams is;
>> 12th Class Pass with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, english
>> Candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in individual subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

BITSAT exams would be held from 14th May to 1st June 2013
Last date to apply for the BITS exams is 15th February 2013

Yes of course you are eligible as you have scored 80% aggregaste in all three subjects physics, chemistry and maths and that is what they need as eligibility.
furthermore you have to be atleast 18 years old and have to clear the BITSAT exam to be eligible to study at BITS pilani.

Your are eligible to BITS 2012.
The candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English.
They need only 75% aggregate marks.
Don't worry, You are eligible for BITS.
