Am I eligible for both IBPS PO and IBPS clerical


I have secured 66.53% in 10th , 47.77% in 12th and 6.36 cgpa in BTech . Am I eligible for both IBPS PO and IBPS clerical?

Yes, you are eligible for both the positions. Up to last year, eligibility for IBPS clerical post was passing XII class. But from this time onwards, they have raised the qualification to graduation. Graduation is the qualification required for P.O post. Further details can be collected either from the website of IBPS or from the portal of the concerned bank.

Yes you are eligible for both exams IBPS PO and Clerk as well. you are graduate and your percentage are also good enough.but your age must be between 20 to 30 years.


Eligibility criteria:-
You must be at least 20 years and the max age is 30 years for general candidates
5 years relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
3 years Upper age relation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PWD Candidates

Educational criteria for IBPS exam:
For clerk only graduation is required from any recognized university and for PO exam Graduation with minimum 55% aggregates must from any recognized university.

Hi,

Yes you are eligible for both PO and clerk exam of IBPS and even SBI. You can start your exam preparations and then refer the books like R S Agarwal or Kiran CWE or M Laxmikanth or S Chand or Upakar's publication book then solve previous question papers and practise more. the IBPS has not me toned any specific percentage to appear for clerk exam but only graduation or equivalent degree and where as for PO the education is graduation from recognised university. So you are eligible and you can apply. The IBPS clerk exam is in the month of December. If you have registered for exam in the last month then you can appear for this exam. The IBPS is conducting common written examination on behalf of 20 public sector banks and SBI is conducting separate exam so you can check and apply.

Yes, you are eligible for both Clerical and P.O. exam conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) provided you meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Clerical exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
-Should have completed 10th with 60% marks OR have completed 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board OR have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University
-Should be within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate
-Should be a computer literate one.

Eligibility Criteria for P.O. Exam:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National
-Should have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University
-Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation fro reserved candidate
-Should have good command over computer operation.

As you are a B.Tech. candidate after completion of which you can apply for both the exam.

- According to your qualification, you are eligible for IBPS clerk and IBPS PO exam.

- Eligibility criteria for both the exam is minimum graduation from a recognised universty.

- Age for Clerk is between 18-28 years and for PO it is 20-30 years.

- Both the exam are conducted by IBPS two times in a year.

- IBPS means Institute of Banking Personnel selection.

- IBPS paper has five subjects - Quantitative Aptitude, GK, Reasoning, Computer knowledge and English.

- The subjects have objective questions and English has subjective questions also.

Yes you are eligible for IBPS PO and clerical examination because you are a Graduate.

The basic requirement for IBPS PO and Clerical exam is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

But you have to be according to the age limit criteria of IBPS if you want to apply for it.

For IBPS clerical posts your age must be 18 to 28 years if you are general category.

For IBPS PO your age should be 18 to 30 years if you are general category.

There is age relaxation available for other categories according to the government rules.

The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written exam and personal interview.

The objective type paper will have 5 sections and you have to pass in every section if you want to qualify the exam. There is negative marking for wrong answer hence you must attempt carefully.

If you qualify the objective type paper then you will be called for interview. The merit will be prepared after the interview and if you have good marks then you will get the job.

IBPS CLEARK ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

For CLERK you must complete 12th standard exam.

Backlog criteria :

And do not allow active backlogs.

Yes you are eligible to sit for the IBPS examination. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. For the post of probationary officers, clerical cadre, specialist officers an examination is conducted by IBPS which is called the CWE exam. As many as 19 public sector banks takes part in this examination and if you successfully crack this exam then you might get a chance to work in any one of these banks.

IBPS PO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • You need to complete graduation first from a recognized university.
  • When applying for this exam age should not be less than 21 years and for general category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years.
  • There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, 3 years for OBC Candidates and 10 years for differently abled candidates.
  • Proficiency in the local language of the State you are applying is also required.
  • You should have the working and operating knowledge in computer system. It helps if you have a certificate, degree or diploma in computer operations.

IBPS Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • You need to be a citizen of India.
  • Until now 10+2 students were allowed to give the clerk exam but not anymore. Now you need have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • The lower age limit for giving this exam is 20 years and the upper age limit is 28 years.
  • You need to show that you have computer skills at the time of application. You should have a certificate course to show from a recognized institute.
  • Since now the candidates can apply only in one State therefore it is important to be fluent in the local language of that state.
