Re: Am i eligible fro MBA after doing B.Com with 48% marks
Any graduate can apply for the MBA course. A candidate with backlogs is not a graduate. So you need to clear all the backlogs to apply for post graduation course. You also need to score well in entrance exam like CAT, MAT. For many reputed institutes like IIM, XLRI, IGNOU graduates with a minimum of 50% marks can apply. So you will need to apply to the lower rung colleges.

Re: Am i eligible fro MBA after doing B.Com with 48% marks
You are definitely eligible for the Master in Business Administration course therefore don't worry and start preparing for the Common Admission Test, only if you belong to reserve category, else you would have to appear in the Management Aptitude Test.
These two are the most common entrance exams for the Master in Business Administration course. In addition there are several other exams for MBA as well, most of them are conducted by universities on their own. The problem is your case would be the percentage in graduation. Most entrance exam require candidate to score at least 50 percent marks in the graduation course. Only MAT is one such exam where percentage is not a issue. Here is the list of MBA Entrance exams: CAT MAT IRMA IIFT SNAP IBSAT NMAT XAT MAH-CET CUSAT PAM-CAT TANCET OCET UP-SEE Orissa JEE KMAT UPMCAT Common Admission Test (CAT) The most popular entrance exam for Master in Business Administration is Common Admission Test (CAT). Passing the CAT exam would mean that you can get admission in top Management colleges in India. What I am referring to are the IIMs - Indian Institute of Management. Eligibility: 1. You must have graduation degree with at least 50 percent marks. 2. Candidates belonging to reserve category need 45 percent marks. Since you have scored 48 percent marks in the B.Com, unless you belong to the reserve category, there is no way for you to appear in the Common Admission Test. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) MAT could be considered as second most popular entrance exam for MBA. The MAT score is widely accepted across universities in India. The best thing about Management Aptitude Test is that there is no percentage requirement. MAT Exam Pattern Reading Comprehension - 40 Questions Data Interpretation/Data Sufficiency - 40 Questions Quantitative Aptitude - 40 Questions Logical and Critical Reasoning - 40 Questions General Awareness - 40 Questions |

Re: Am i eligible fro MBA after doing B.Com with 48% marks
No, you are not eligible to do the MBA course because to get admission in MBA course you have to do the entrance exam for this exam those students who have obtained more than 60% marks are eligible to apply and you have very less marks in graduation so you can not apply for the MBA course.
But if you are coming in the reserved category then you can get admission in some university where the minimum percentage is near about 40%. You can also get admission through the management cota or any other way. |
