i am a B.E student with 80%in 10th n 12th..i hve 68% in B.E till 5th sem with 1 arrear..am i eligible for infosys?wat s the max num of arrears allowed at infosys and in other i.t companies?

yess you are eligible for INFOSYS because INFOSYS criteria is given below.

INFOSYS JOB CRITERIA:-

1) through out 65% and in your 10th, 10+2 th.
2) you have score atleast 65% in b-tech.
3) backlog are not allowed.
4) one year gape are allowed in career.

If a candidate satisfies two conditions in below then there is an exemption for 5% in the third one.

� 65% in 10th Class

� 65% in Intermediate or Diploma

If you have 2 back locks are eligible for Maximum IT companies.
you have good percentage,so you can try to clear your back locks early as possible.

You have good marks in your 10th, 12th and engineering level. But first you have clear all your subjects. With backlogs you can't apply for Infosys company. When you are complete your degree, you are eligible for these companies.

the eligibility criterion for TCS, Infosys, Wipro ans Satyam almost same. you must have minimum of 60% marks throughout to appear in the recruitment process of these company. for Infosys i think minimum marks is 65%.

If you are Interested to get Job in these MNC's Companies, thenyou have to scored Minimum 60% Marks from your 10th Onwards. Only then you are Eligible to appear in the Recruitment process of these Comapnies.

And you dont get Any Backlogs in your Continuining Course Otherwise You are Not Eligible to appear in these Company Recruitment Process.

So, please Scored Minimum 60% marks In your all the class And Courses and Also Improve your Communication Skills and General Knowledge Because You have to clear the written Test as well as GD and Interview Also To get Job in these Companies.

Below is the eliibility criteria for Infosys campus selection.
Eligibility Criteria: 10th – 12th/Puc above 65%(Mandatory) BE/B.Tech : 60% (Aggregate 60% mandatory)

You would be eligible only if you clear that arrear before Infosys visits you campus.

INFOSYS :

a) 60% in X and XII
b) 60% all through in Btech
c) In case of MCA /M TECH 60% in Grads and 65% In MCA/ M TECH or 65% in Grads and 60% in MCA or M TECH
d) Maximum 2 years study gap

May be one backlog os allowed.

YES u R ELIGIBLE!!!

as u hav scored a good total in ur 10th and ur 12th, u r eligible to appear!!

moreover, the backlog is not a problem if u clear it in a single attempt in the semester to come!!!

And also, try boosting ur CGPA, in the remaining semesters!!!! if u hav a CGPA above 8 u will be allowed to appear fro the INFOSYS placements~!!

Though you have scored well in 10th and 12th your score in engineering seems low. Companies like Infosys during recruitment drive allow applications from candidates with a score above 70%. Arrears are not acceptable too. You still have one semesters time to make up. Also do prepare for the aptitude test, the group discussion and interview round.

Infosys is a multi national company and a great oppurtunity to work and learn.

The minimum %requirement is more that 65% in b.tech but some time it increases to even 68% to be eligible for written test.
It consists of aptitude question ,completion of sentences,correction of sentences ,reading comprehension,synonyms,antonyms.
all are multiple choice question and they may put sectional cutoff in aptitude and verbal so pay weightage to both parts.

you have good percentage which make you eligible for infosys and also you should not have any backlogs is also one criteria but some colleges infosys allows one or two backlogs but that you need to clear while joining if at all the avail students with backlogs..

for infosys you should have 70% marks in each semester.

I have around 75% in my Btech level and above 80% in 10 and 84% in 2 level. I have one unfortunate backlog, which i will clear this december. Infy is visiting our campus 8 months earlier than they told us. So what can I do? I also have very good records for my computer subjects in the Btech course, above 80% in all subjects and practicals

At infosys you are not eligible unless you clear all you arrears but yes few other companies you can appear having max 2-3 arrears

Yes,You are eligible for the criteria of Infosys and You maintain Percentage till your final year You are definitely eligible.You Just prepare yourself for the aptitude and you should good in Technical knowledge.

You scored really well , for placement at infosys u need to pass out with atleast 65% , you should not have any backlogs, maximum 1 year gap is allowed between 12th and B.E.
