I have Economics and Mathematics as my subjects in Humanities. I am giving my ISC now. Can I pursue Actuarial Science for graduation? If not, then what should I do to make myself eligible to study Actuarial Science?

- In order to do Actuarial Science, the only eligibility criteria is that the examine must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 85% in
Mathematics/Statistics also with English as one of the subjects at 10+2 level. Also the age should be above 18 years.

So, yes you are eligible for this course. But in order to take admission, you need to sit for entrance examination which is ACET - Actuarial Common Entrance Test. The exam will be held twice in a year that is in the month of June and December respectively.


IMPORTANT DATES FOR ACET-2018 EXAM:

- Registration start : March, 2018

- Registration Closed : May, 2018

- Date of Exam : June, 2018

- Result Declaration : July, 2018

Registration fee : Rs 3000/-

Mode of Examination : Computer based examination.

Examination pattern :The exam will be of multiple type questions. The exam will be for 2 hours duration. Syllabus for ACET exam :

I) Mathematics
II) Statistics
III) Englsih
IV) Data Interpretation
V) Logic Reasoning
