SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) is a very big organization of Indian railway recruitment board. The exam of SCRA is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for 4 years apprentice in Indian railway.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates age minimum 17 years and not more than 21 years and the passed 10+2 class with first or second division in mathematics, physics or chemistry.

So after passing 12th you are eligible for this exam but your age limit should be 17 to 21 years.

Eligibility:

The candidates should have completed 21 years of age by 1st August and the minimum age for aspiring it is 17 years.

The relaxation limits for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.

For backward classes it is 3 years.

For Ex-service men the limit is 5 years.

Education qualification:

The candidate must have passed +2 with (10 +2) pattern of school education with mathematics and either physics or chemistry with it.

YES, you are eligible to apply for the SCRA exams.

Education required to apply for the SCRA exams is:
12th Class or Intermediate pass with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry in class 12th.
OR

Graduation pass with subjects Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry


Age-
Minimum 17 years
Maximum 21 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


Scheme of SCRA examinations:
General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)
Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry)
Mathematics

Eligibility Details About SCRA

The SCRA Exam stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and this examination is conducted by the UPSC

The examination is said to be a very difficult one and there are very few seats to be filled so do work hard..

The eligibility details regarding the SCRA Examination is as follows :-

1) You must have completed your class 12th or must be appearing for your boards in the year in which you appear for the SCRA Examination..

2) You must also have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects in Class 12th..

3) There is no restriction on class 12th percentage to appear in this exam..

4) The age of the candidate must lie within 17 years to 21 years..

5) 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates..

The SCRA Examination is conducted every year in January..

The forms for the SCRA exam are generally available in October and November..

The examination has 3 papers each of 200 marks :-

1) English

2) Science

3) Maths

Yes definitely you're eligible for SCRA Entrance Examination after completing you're 12th Standard.

12th Standard is the minimum educational qualification to apply for SCRA Entrance Examination.

SCRA stands for (Special Class Railway Apprentice) and this examination is conducted by UPSC. This Entrance Examination held every year.

SCRA Entrance Examination is taken by students who have completed or are completing their 12th Standard or equivalent qualification from recognized university.

Applicant should have Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry as main subjects of the examination to appear in SCRA Entrance Examination.

The Applicant who are waiting for 12th board Examination result may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination.

Minimum 17 years should be crossed and should crossed 21 years to apply for this examination and Upper age relaxation will be applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates.

The Entrance Examination is divided into, Written Examination and Personal Interview.

The SCRA Entrance Examination pattern is divided into three levels namely, General ability test/Physics and chemistry/Mathematics

This Entrance Examination is based on Objective type with Multiple choice. This Entrance Examination is also negative marking answer.

The Notification of SCRA Examination published in Employment news paper and Official website of UPSC during the month of October and the examination is conducted during the month of February.

So,After Completing you're 12th Standard then definitely you're eligible for SCRA Entrance Examination.
