Which android phone is best till this date? Which phone should i buy between Galaxy note and HTC one x? Even i can go for SII but tell me the reasons why should i go for a particular phone

As i have gone through few reviews that HTC one x is having less battery back up and if you play games then it gets heat up. Is it true?

But i don't like the classic look of Galaxy note, its look like outdated what should i do? I need your valuable comments . Please help me.
