Any special quota in MHT-CET for other states students?
Hello sir/madam,
I am living in chennai, doing my 12th… i came to know about the entrance exam in Maharashtra only by now… i have planned to write the exam…. I want to know the due date and where we can get the application forms and is there any special quota for the candidates coming from other states?? Waiting for your reply… -Bharath Ram. -Chennai. |

Criteria for Outside Maharastra State candidates at MHT CET: ---- The appearing candidate has to be an Indian National and should have passed the H. Sc (10+2 Std.) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. AND It is also essential on your part to secure non zero score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for selection in MHT-CET. To resolve a tie i.e. more than one candidate securing equal aggregate marks in H. Sc (10+2 Std.) examination, following order of preference shall be adopted: Marks obtained in Mathematics at H. Sc, Marks obtained in Physics at H. Sc, Grand total of marks obtained at H. Sc, Marks obtained in Mathematics at SSC, Grand Total of marks obtained at SSC. Criteria for Outside Maharastra State Candidates at 10+2 Level:------- The aspiring candidate for this examination should be an Indian National and should have passed the H. Sc (10+2 Std.) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. To resolve a tie i.e. more than one candidate securing equal aggregate marks in H. Sc (10+2 Std.) examination, the following process of solution shall be adopted: Marks obtained in Mathematics at H. A candidate should be an Indian National who has passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, or its equivalent examination, with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum 50% marks are required, i.e., not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 45% marks, i.e., not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and DTE, Mumbai, MHT-CET 2010 Brochure Engineering/Technology Mathematics added together; AND a non zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET 2010........

sorry friend you are not eligible for the maharashtra cet exm as this exam is for maharashtra students only...........but you can take admission in maharashtra college by providing your aieee score card........

As i know there is no MHT-CET do not provide any spatial quota to the candidates who are not from Maharashtra. you should have 50% in your 12th class in English,Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics. good luck.... |

I'm currently a student studying in standard 12th....i also belong in the obc quota and i come from a better off family, i live in maharashtra, what is the minimum aggregate required by me for being eligible to get admission through mht cet for engineering? Waiting for your reply. Thank you! |

I am student completed 10th in Saudi Arabia and doing 12th in karnataka, my parents born and studied in maharashtra. Can I appear for MHCET. How much is the quota for engineering college in my case.

if a student from punjab gives mh cet for mbbs then he cud get private college only and not govt college..is that?like in punjab if a student of some other state gives pmet then even if he scores higher then also although not govt seat but cud get best private college of the state under pmet please inform me about the same as soon as possible....

Any specific exam conducted by Maharashtra govt other than MH-CET for students from different states for getting admission in medical colleges of Maharashtra like Karnataka is conducting comed-k

I am studying in 12th and have studied more than 7 years in Karnataka. Am i eligible to write mht cet? But i was born in Maharashtra and studied till 1st std and my caste is obc and have domicile, NCL AND CASTE certificate of Maharashtra also.Am i eligible?

The criteria to appear for MHT CET is
Candidate must possess a domecile of Maharashtra Candidate must have passed 10 and 12 standard from Maharashtra If you belong to o other state than you will not be eligible for applying for this exam In order ti get admission in Maharashtra you can give the national level entrance exam |
