Is B.Ed compulsory for Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level examination?


Hi, I have done B.Tech in Computer Science. Thereafter, I have done MBA in Information Technology. I have not done B.Ed. So, am I eligible to apply and write the Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level (SSC-CGL) examination?

As you have done BTech in Computer Science Engineering hence, you are eligible to appear in Combined Graduate Level Examination because minimum educational qualification required to appear in this exam is graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

No, B.Ed. is not mandatory for SSC CGL exam.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should have done graduation in any stream from a recognised University.

Minimum age - 18 years.
Maximum age - 30 years.

You are eligible for this exam after B.Tech.

No, any Bachelors degree/graduation from a recognised university /institution is the desired educational qualification whereas the age limit varies for each posts.
Apart from this, computer proficiency is beeded and will be checked further in some exams

Here are the eligibility for SSC-CGL are..

***The basic and compulsory education qualification required under SSC CGL Eligibility is holding a Bachelor's Degree / Graduation or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

To apply for SSC CGL ( Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level ) examination, the minimum education required is simply a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

So, having completed B.Tech. in Computer Science degree course which is a bachelor's degree course, you are eligible to appear in SSC CGL examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned.

No, it is not compulsory to have B.Ed qualification to appear in CGL examination conducted by SSC.

The examination is conducted for recruitment in government jobs.

The examination is conducted in various stages and candidates have to appear and qualify in all the stages for final selection. Required minimum educational qualification to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline.

You are eligible to appear in the examination as per the educational qualification. The age limit varies with different post. For more information visit at www.ssc.nic.in.

The answer is so simple that B.Ed is not compulsory for Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level examination. You have to just Graduation degree to appear in Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level examination.
