Is B.Ed enough to get the post of Primary School Teacher?
I have done a pre-primary course and have been teaching from the past 11 years in the pre-primary school but now I want to know if I do an B.Ed course will I be able to teach in the primary section or can I do D.Ed correspondence from Mumbai university and get a job as a primary teacher?

To get the recruitment as a Primary teacher in government school, you will have to appear and qualify in CTET or STET.
The minimum required eligibility to appear for the Primary teacher recruitment examination is that candidate must have passed intermediate or equivalent with atleast Diploma or Bachelor in Education. So, after the D.Ed course you will become eligible to appear for the examination for final selection as teacher. |
