Is B.Sc Chemistry acceptable for the post of Sanitary Inspector?


Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Society University has announced for the post of Sanitary Inspector including many post and the qualifications mentioned is 10th, Diploma, any degree. There is no where mentioned about any specific branch in degree. I have completed B.Sc Chemistry. So, is this acceptable?
