hello dear,
in my openion B.TECH(ECE) is better bcozz each and every company wants a person which have more practicle knowledge. in B.E i.e.,bachelor of engg. there are no technical word have sound.previously every university provide B.E degree but now these day every university provide B.TECH degree.
so B.TECH is better.....

Thumbs up Re: B.Tech(ECE) or B.E(ECE)? Which one is better?

Hey pal ,

I would like to tell you that these two things are indifferent .

B Tech and B.E. doesn't have any different at all as they are never been together present in any college or university .

Some colleges uses the word B Tech for their programs while the other uses B.E.

For eg. , All IITs uses their bachelor course in engineering as B.Tech while BITS - pilani uses phrase B.E. ( Hons. ) for its bachelor engineering programs .

So , don't get confused by them and they don't differ in any respect either it's a practical work or theoretical work .

All the best and hope your doubts regarding both of them has been cleared now .

regards
( sattu )

let me help you
both b.tech and b.e are bachelor degree course and there is no much difference in both
only difference is that you can get a job more easily when you do a b.tech than be
and as far as the ece branch that you are choosing in your engg field as your career field is very good

Hi Chanchal
There is not any difference between the B.Tech and the B.E,actually both the courses are same the difference is only between the writing style and that's all.

B.Tech. stands for Bachelor Of Technology.
B.E. stands for Bachelor Of Engineering.

B.E./ Btech in Electronics and Computer Engineering are same. Some of the colleges name the course as B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) and some others name it as B.Tech(Bachelor of technology).Candidates who pass ECE can gain opportunities in power plants, telecom, electronics etc.. Accenture, Procter & Gamble, IBM, Intel are some of the companies which hire large number of ECE candidates. The candidates have wide scope not only in India but also abroad.

HEllo,

First of all let us be clear what is B.E and what is B.Tech.
B.Tech is Bachelor Of Technology.
B.E. is Bachelor of engineering.
Engineering and technology are synonyms and are related to the same field.
There is not much difference between the 2, but it is restricted to the fact that in B.Tech, more stress is given to the practical aspect of engineering and it contains a more weightage of marks in terms of practicals. Whereas, in B.E. practical is not given that amount of stress as in B.Tech, but yes, it too holds importance in B.E.

As said by someone already, Btech is offered by IIT and B.E. by BITS pilani, and both these institutes are parallel, in terms of rating.

Being myself a technical person, i would say, i really doesnt matter weather you opt for Btech or B.E, as it is all he same.
What i suggest is to do engineering from a reputed college, where they have good placements. The main thing is we want to do ECE as that it is our field of interest and not weather we get the degree as BTech or B.E. The course is pracically the same, but differs in terms of universities as the guideline are given by AICTE which is a central board for technical education.
Work hard, do well.

Good Luck..!!

dear friend,

both has equal importance.no one is better than other.

you can differentiate between these two.

b.tech. means bachelor of technology and B.E. means bachelor of engineering.

both are same.some government engineering colleges gives the degree of B.E.

but as i know all private engineering colleges gives B.TECH. degree.

all the best.

B.Tech and B.E both are one and the same. Some universities call it as B.Tech
And others as B.E.

There is no difference at all. All the subjects studied in both the cases will be
same. Friend, just think can a Einstein in B.Tech could become Eminem in BE...?
No na.. Even here. it is same.

So. forget all your doubts about this.

What really matters is how good college/University you are in?

so. Study in a good college and get a good knowledge.

There's not much difference between B.E and B.Tech.Both degrees have the same scope and have same importance since both the subjects are the same. There are various Universities all over India and some of the Universities call it by Bachelor of Education(B.E) and some by B.tech(Bachelor of Technology).

What you have to see in a Engineering college is whether is it approved by AICTE/UGC,accredited by NBA and the college NAAC Grade,Whether ISO approved.
You just need to look all these above points in a Engineering college and nothing other than that.Hope, you got the point.

Cool Re: B.Tech(ECE) or B.E(ECE)? Which one is better?

Dear friend,

There is no difference between B.Tech and B.E. So any one you can do.

In fact B.Tech courses are conducted by a college by giving more practicals where as in BE less practicals are given . So you can chose anyone it doesn't matter.

It is like MBA and PGDM both are same degree.

You opt ECE branch , it which is most wanted field.

All the best....................

Both mba and mtech are good programs. Though I personally like m.tech programs more and as you already have b.tech backgrounds, it will of help to you. And I even heard of some programs like robotics, petroleum exploration, pipeline engineering, artificial intelligence etc. As these are core sector programs, these will help you get a good job in a good multinational organisation with a good package. So, if these programs interests you then look for UPES,Dehradun as it is one of the university offering these programs.
