Are B.Tech lateral candidates eligible for jobs in Public Sector Units?
Hi, I am pursuing B.Tech which I started after Diploma through lateral entry scheme. Will I be able to get a job in Public Sector Units - PSUs after clearing GATE examination?

Yes, you are eligible to get recruitment in PSU after B.Tech.
Recruitment in most of the PSUs will be on the basis of qualifying in GATE. So, you just need to focus on your studies and prepare for the examination to get recruitment in PSU. |

Yes, you will be eligible for PSU jobs after completing B.Tech from a recognized University.
It doesn't matter whether you have taken lateral entry admission in B.Tech or regular admission. You will have to apply for GATE exam in the final year or after completing it. Then, if you qualify GATE exam, then you may get jobs in PSUs after clearing their interview process. |
