GATE(graduate aptitude test in engineering) is exam conducted by any of the IIT'S for admission into the MTech programme.The students who are with their bachelor degree or the students who are in the final year of BTech are eligible to write the exam.If we crack the gate exam we may get a chance to get admission into the IIT'S or other famous institutes.The gate score is valid for 2 years.Gate score can be used in different ways.Some of companies recruiting the students based on the gate scores.
