best choice after diploma in ECE go for job or join in btech answer me sir as early as possible

If you applied for job after diploma, the scope of promotion and better salary would be thin. Therefore I will suggest that you should go for B.Tech in ECE. I would recommend that you do not change the stream for two reasons.


Firstly Electronics and Communications is one of the best branches of Engineering. Secondly diploma students find it extremely hard to cope upon changing the stream n Bachelor of Technology.


You can take admission in B.tech through lateral entry. This would give you admission in the second year for B.Tech course. Please appear for the Lateral Entry Engineering Test for admission.


Please remember that you can not appear for AIEEE or IIT-JEE entrance exam. Neither you can take admission in IIT or NIT since there is no provision in these universities to offer admission to diploma students.


Once you have completed the B.Tech there would be several good opportunities for you. Perhaps the best would be to apply for the job in Public Sector Undertaking.


You can do that if completed graduation with 60 percent marks. The job process includes written test followed by the interview. However not all PSU conducts written test. Some give preference to the GATE score of the candidate. Therefore I would suggest that you appear for the GATE entrance exam as well.

No jobs for diploma ECE please floks carry on with your studies further or else you will end up like me who got 67% and still no opportunity from last 2 months. Diploma sucks!!!!!

If any company is interested to give job, then according to them they are paying a huge amount starting from Rs. 3500. So please don't waste your time and go for the B.Tech.
