You might have found that many colleges listed as offering Genetic Engineering in this discussion forum is not actually correct. The only place where B.Tech (Genetic Engineering), M. Tech (Genetic Engineering) and PhD and Integrated PhD in Genetic Engineering are offered for the past 6 years at SRM University, Chennai. It is offered in the main campus at Kattankulathur not at Ramapuram campus as reported in some newspapers. Visit www.srmuniv.ac.in for more details. B.Tech & M.Tech is better than B.Sc and M.Sc offered in very places. With 4 year B.Tech you can directly go for MS or Phd abroad with or wihtout fellowships.
