My sister wants to take commerce for her +2 studies, we are in a bit confusion, could you please inform her which combination she can opt with commerce?

In Intermediate (12th Standard), there were two groups with Commerce subject

1. C.E.C - Civics, Economics, Commerce
2. M.E.C - Mathematics, Economics, Commerce

If she was interested in Civics subjects, she can opt for CEC group
If she was interested in Mathematics Subject, she can opt for MEC group.

If MEC group was opted, there is chance of good score in intermediate. Depending on the her career prospectives also we can choose the group.

If she was interested to move career to Group 1, Group II, Group IV or Teacher Posting it would be better to take CEC group
If she was interested in Chartered Accountant, Bank jobs and other professional courses it would be better to take MEC group

Compulsory subjects in Commerce are :
1. Accounts
2. Business
3. Economics &
4. English

Optional subjects in commerce are :
1. Mathematics
2. Hindi
3. Computer
4. Physical Education
5. Painting
6. Other language

In my opinion you should choose either mathematics or computer as your optional subject. Thanks
