Salary is a different matter, which depends up on the Managerial talent and quality of education once had, which is directly proportional to Quality of Institute from where you have persued your BMS.

No doubt Good Institute offers quality education and also have campusing facility.

However, a fresher with good Academic record can easily expect anything between 8,000-20,000 at starting level. It also depends upon the Recruiting Company and placement etc.

But if you want to explore more lucaretive career option then go for MBA (Finance or Marketing) or MMS. Generally after BMS one get into Insurance or Banking sector, as because of good oppurtunities are there for such Degree holder.

But after MBA you are free to select your own ssector, and in my opinion after MBA (Finance) non- other sector then Banking will be suitable for you. But if you are enrolling for MMS the Insurace and Investment sector will be payfull for you.

Salary mantra will remain same at entry level at least 12,000-20,000. Which also depends upon Recruiter and your own talent.

really it is very different question,
but your salary depend upon the sector in which you will work.
also it depends upon the institute from where you have done you course.

hey friend why are you concerned about the salary you will get after doing this.........all matter is what are you doing..................there are very few course which are having bright and long lasting future,so just go for those courses.....

some of the courses are :-

BBA
BBI
BMS
BHM

after doing any of these course you can go for the MBA for professional courses.......

MBA and MMS are definitely options to pursue for you after BMS. Salary may be little higher for MBA but again it depends on your skills as well as the recruiter. Now a days there are lots of options to pursue not just engineering or medicine - but commerce, biochemostry, microbiology, accountancy and so on.

First of all I would like to know why you want to opt for IIPM??

Just by reading its Attracting ADS in leading Newspapers.

Why do you want to pack your life and career by persuing a course from the institute which is niether approved by UGC nor affiliated with AICTE.

In year 2009 NACC, UGC, and few governing bodies had issued the list for FAKE or Non Affiliated institutes, among which name of IIPM was also included.

However, IIPM charge 5.26 Lacs for MBA and 8.85 Lacs for BBA+MBA integrated as it does not offers only BBA.

But I will not advice you anything that may harm your Career. I am not blaming the institute,but telling the fact which I have learnt and Herd from those who had appeared for Selection process of IIPM.

See BMS is good course to go for But in my opinion one should go for BMS only if you want to go for MBA next.

Otherwise it is better to go for Bcom and then you can go for MBA, CA, ICWAI, CS, and many more opinions are availble.

Taking about Salary after completing BMS one can earn Rs.7500 to Rs.15000 per month. Which can increase further after getting good amount of exp.

If one completes BMS and the MBA then the salary scale for a fresh MBA is from Bought Rs.12000 to Rs. 18000 per month depending on the Mangarial intelignece and abilities. Which can increase further after getting good amount of exp.


What I feel surely is If one has to go for MBA, then the priority list will be
1. BMS
2. BCom
3. BScit

my son has completed his 12th science with 65% he wants to do BMS i need to know whether BMS or BAF is good he does not have a basic background of commerce and if he opts for BAF will he find it tough?

Yes, if he go for BMS or BAF, it would be difficult for him as he does not know the basics of management. but if he is hard working, he will manage it.

Both courses have good scopes, so don't worry about that and let him join the course if he thinks he can do it.

No, work experiance is not mandatory if you are enrolling through Entrance exams like- CAT, MAT, XAT, XLRI etc.....

However, there are some sepecialised MBA programs for Working Executive where admission is based on the field there are working and work experiance, and some Distance learning programs also looks for that.

Between B.Com or BMS both are more or less good. BMS is best for those who wants to make his/her career in Finance or Insurance and management like sectors, where as B.Com is best for those who want to make there career in Accounting and Finance.

bms will be the best course if you wish to do mba because it has many things common in syllabus which mba has otherwise you can also opt for bba but mumbai university does not offers bba as a fulltime course so its better to go with bms.

Look dear, as you are from commerce back ground ,i would better say opt for BBA rather than BMS or BBM because this are also the derivative of BBA so better opt for BBA as because its the main stream and the other two is of the fragmented part of BBA rather its making you specialization in a selected portion of management where as BBA makes you to know about the administrative system of the whole business.So, its better to have full knowledge about the administrative system of a business rather than a portion of the system.

So, i suggest you opt for BBA and aft that opt for MBA. The thing i want to convey you that if you want to earn big bucks then better do MBA in finance because its till now in a boom stage and by opting it you can be benefited and it will be more better if you opt for Human Resource its really in a Boom stage and can earn more than opting finance. One more thing if you really want to earn lump some amount then do energy management, because by doing this you will be recruited by the energy producing companies. So ,you can make out what they are going to pay you.

So, I think you got my point and i think you can make your choice.

The choice depends on the specialization you want to opt in MBA.

B.Com course is good choice for the one who wants to do MBA in Accounting and finance or even I.T. or HRM.

On the other hand, BMS totally revolves around the Financial Markets.
So it will be best suited if you want to pursue your MBA in Finance.

It's totly depends upon your choice their are lots of option for you such as b.b.a,b.c.a,b.tech, b.e, or b.sc ,b.a any one which you likes all fields are good and have lots of opportunities

You can do MBA after any course, no matter which stream you have opted before, all the graduates are eligible for MBA.

Since, your +2 result is not so good, you wont be able to get admission in B.Com (Honours) in any good college, and going for just pass course is not enough. So better switch to BBA or BBM or BHM it will be good for promising career prospect.

why r u taking so much tension related to salary?

u are a fresher now u just work in a sector after ur course just to gain experience .after getting experienced u can join any company easily of demandable salary.

after BMS u can join both MBA or MMS

both are good .
it is normal to expect ur first salary around 15000Rs/ after that it will be increased.

Opt for B.com.

I dont think you will get BBA without having Maths at +2.

Opt for B.com there you will have to study Maths nice and also maths paper will be of 100 marks there.

If you have good percentile in +2 then getting into B.com is not an issue, you can also get honours.

As your main subject is commerce, i think you can apply for MBA. It has a large scope today. If you are applying for MBA in finance, i think it will be a better choice for you.

First complete your qualification.
But if you want to know about reality then its 8000 to 20000 starting.
And if you have good qualities in you to move your career graph high then you also earn more and more.
And one more thing go for MBA.
