Indian Police Service entrance exam is conducted by the union public service commission under the civil services examination every year once.There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Minimum educational qualification required for IPS Exam is Bachelor degree .There is not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree .This exam not depends on 12th standard course .

Age criteria for IPS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.

Age relaxation for IPS exam:

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

IPS Exam Details:-

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification:-

To apply for the IPS Exam you need to be a graduate in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

As you have mention that you have completed your 10+2 then you should have to first of take admission in any of the Bachelor course. There is no any particular bachelor course you can choose Bachelor course of your interest......

The Bachelor course you prefer it must be of at least 3 years, Then after completing your Graduation OR Being a final year candidate you are eligible for appearing the Civil Service Exam.....

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service, For Becoming an IPS Office you have to apply for the Civil Service Exam which is conducted in the Three stages:

1. Written exam
2. Interview and
3. Medical test
