Which is the best long term career for engineering student from IIT in India with excellent working condition and rewards? How is the career in consulting jobs?


Which is best long term, excellent working condition &,rewarding career for engineering student from IIT in India. Compare long term career in jobs of Core/ IT/ Consulting. How is career in consulting jobs?

In my opinion a graduate from iit will easily get a good placement above 7lacs p/a. But i would prefer him to prepare for ias exam .
If he/she wants to have reputation, power, facilities . As ias is the best services in india.
