Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
In India M.Tech from IIT is better. If you wish to work outside india and wish to work with research group then MS is needed.beside this it give you an extra value.
I heard that after 5 years experience joining MS at any american university is so much helpful. all the best. |

i will suggest you apply for both exem, both are very tough to creck,if you can creck both then i will suggest you for M.tech...
From indian university M.tech is more esffective than MS but if you are interested in USA then go for MS. MS has a Great value in Software industry in anywhere... |

Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a commercially run standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate schools in the United states. both are different field and if you get any of these is good ... in both the option MS is good for ambitious students.. |

Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
dear friend
both are almost valuable, if you study well and score high and get into some government job, preferably. but then, as per me, MS would be more valuable and recognised outside india if you are seeking job in the foreign countries. and iit would be th best option for getting into any of the renowned colleges as lecturers anyways, both have very marginal difference. so as per your mark if you get a good university in america, then go ahead. and if you get iit through gate, then join that all choice is yours. chhose what is best for you. God bless you |

Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
it depends majorly on which university you are going to join in USA if it is a reputed university then one must definitely opt for USA. there one can acquire more global awareness than here in india.
but going to USA includes many problems like financially or even with the visa, etc which would not be there in case of an IIT. gre and gate are equally tough to crack. you need to even appear for toefl in the case of ms in USA. all the best |

Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
I think MS from Us would be a better option if u can afford bcoz in india practical and experimental aspect is given less importance and it will be also helpful if u would pursue phd afterwards.

Re: Which is better M.Tech. from IIT or MS from USA ?
I am from a non-IIT or NIT college. To be precise, I am from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Is there any chance of me making it to the A or A schools of US if I can score very good marks (320 ) in GRE ? Thank you. Please reply.
