NTSE Stands for [National Talent Search Examination] . It's one of the prestigious Examination which is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training ..

This Examination is held every year during the month of May and the Notification for this Examination may published during the Month of July ..

The Examination is divided into three stages namely, State Level Examination , National Level Examination and Interview.

To appear in this Examination than you need to Complete 10th Standard (or) Equivalent Examination in discipline from recognized University .

National Talent Search Scheme is a flagship activity of the NCERT started in the year 1963. The purpose of the scheme was to identify talented students and nurture their talent. Talent refers to the potentiality that manifests itself in a high level of performance in one or more specialized areas
Scholarships: On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination , 1000 scholarships will be awarded

1. Scholarships : On the basis of the examination conducts, 1000 scholarships will be awarded for each group of students appearing for class-X examination. The amount of scholarship will be Rs 500/- per month as per NTS rules
2. Reservation: 15% scholarships will be reserved for students belonging to the SC category, 7.5% scholarships for students belonging to the ST category and 3% for Physically Challenged group of students
3. Selection: There will be two stage selection process for award of scholarship
Stage- I, selection will be done by States/UTs through a written examination
Students, who qualify Stage-I, will be eligibleto appear for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT
4. Eligibility: All students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage-I examination, conducted by the States/UTs, in which the schools are located
There will be no domicile restriction

NTSE means National Talent search scholarship exam. It is conducted by NCERT.
For this examination if you are qualify for this, you will get a monthly stipend of 500 rupees to 1000 students of India.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with extremely high intellect and academic talent. The scheme is open to students of Indian nationality.
The Ministry of HRD, has modified the NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) Scheme which was previously conducted for Class-Viii will be conducting for Class-X students from this year.
According to the new scheme, they have also revised the syllabus of entrance examination which is equivalent to Class IX & X standards.

NTSE ELIGIBILITY :

>> SO friend if you studying in class 10 , then only you are eligible o appear for this exam .


Selection procedure :

>> Identification of talent comprises a two-stage selection process.
;

(1) First Level NTSE conducted by the State / UT (usually in November) - FOR CLASS X STUDENTS ONLY.

(2) Second Level NTSE conducted at the National Level (usually in May) - FOR CLASS 11th STUDENTS ONLY.

SYLLABUS FOR NTSE EXAM :

>> FIRST Level exam for Std X :

The syllabus for Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be broadly based on the prescribed respective State Board Syllabus from Std 10 .

>> SECOND Level exam for Std X:

The mathematics and science questions will be asked from the chapters in the syllabus of class 9th, 10th and 11th. Social Studies is completely based on the NCERT book for CBSE students for Class 10.

NTSE – National Talent Search Examination

NTSE is conducted by NCERT.

To be eligible for NTSE class 10th –

You should be 9th class pass from a recognised board.

There will be a written exam followed by an interview.


Syllabus for written exam –

There will be two papers –

1. Scientific Aptitude Test

2. Essay related to scientific theme.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is one of the most prestigious competitive examination held in India for granting scholarships for students of Class X or equivalent. NTSE is conducted by the NCERT – National Council of Education Research and Training.

1. General Eligibility Conditions.

An Awardee is eligible for the scholarship provided he/she:

a) Takes up studies in approved courses.

b) Maintains good conduct as certified by the Head of the College/Institution and continues his/her studies as a regular student.

One of best book for NTSE is now in the market that is Pearson ntse guide by Navin c joshi. This book not only good for NTSE but also fit for the foundation for IITJEE as it consist of excellent number of solved and unsolved questions based on science and maths . the theory discussed in this book are more than sufficient (as compared to other books the number of pages are higher about 1000 pages ) apart form this student also get free online learning resources of SST and online testing

If you are going for level 1,then you have to stick to the state board textbooks of your state fir the Scholastic Aptitude Test.MAT requires a lot of practise..so for that RS Agrawal can be used.English is based on usage only.

If preparing for national level,stick to NCERT textbooks.
