Which books to refer for Air Force Common Entrance Test?
Dear Sir,
I am Harminder Singh, I had completed my B.Tech last year. I want to know about which books i refer for preparation of air force common admission test. Please send me names of the books as soon as possible. |

AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notification) Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Competition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS. |

Both male and female candidates can join Indian Air Force( Technical Branch) after their engineering (Btech and BE). Mainly there are two branches for which the student can apply for after his Btech or BE. The first one is Aeronautical Engineering Electronics branch and the other one is the Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical branch. The Electronics branch deals with signal and communication stuff while the Mechanical branch has to take care of the maintenance, servicing and other engine related tasks.
