Dear,

NEET is a combined exam for taking admission in UG and PG courses in medical. It stands for National eligibility cum entrance test, through this exam you can take admission in state and other state medical colleges.

If you have passed your 12th with minimum 50% and had subjects like physics, biology and chemistry then you are eligible to write this test.

This exam is for medical admission and thus is of high level and a bit tough. You ave to prepare really well for it. You can take coaching for it or stuck ti self study as per your capability. But in both the cases you need to follow some good books that will guide you in your preparation.

Some of the books that you must have are:
  1. XI + NEET – Biology MCQs by target publication.
  2. XI + NEET/ISEET – Physics MCQs, target publication.
  3. XI + NEET/ISEET – Chemistry MCQs, target publication.
  4. DAMS Beat The NEET By Sumer K Seth.
  5. NEET Biology By Disha Publication.
  6. Complete Biology for Medicalentrance By Vinay Kumar.
  7. NEET Physics By Disha Experts.
  8. Objective Physics for Medical entrance By DC Pandey.
  9. NEET Chemistry By Disha Experts.
  10. Objective Chemistry for Medical entrance By RK Gupta.
  11. Assertion & Reason By Expert Compilation.
  12. NEET National Eligibility-Cum entrance test By Chandresh Agrawal.

Apart from it read each and every word of your NCERT books which will help to clear your basics.

NEET Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

## NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This exam is conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Medical Council of India. Apart from AIIMS, with this test score you can seek for admission in most of the private and government medical colleges. This exam can be given both for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical.

## CBSE will be conducting the NEET Exam. This will help the students to put all their hard work and labour into preparing only one exam. Earlier it was almost like juggling with several entrance exams and that meant preparing multiple syllabuses and getting used to different exam pattern too. Now there is no such trauma bugging them anymore.

## Since this exam exam is for the medical students therefore you need to come from science background and have biology with physics, chemistry and other subjects. The minimum qualification required to sit for this exam is that you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate and in addition to that you need to secure 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

## There is some relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks in aggregate. Those who are in class 12 and about to sit for their board exam or awaiting the result of their board exam can also give this exam.

## Questions will come from these subjects-physics, chemistry, biology and zoology. In total 180 questions will be asked which means 45 questions from each section. The total paper has to be completed in three hours and there is negative marking too.

NEET Books To Follow:-

~Target NEET 2013: Common Medical Entrance Exam with 10 Mock Tests (Paperback) by Disha Experts
~NEET 2013: 10 Mock Tests Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany (Paperback) by Experts Compilations
~Chapterwise-Topicwise Questions-Solutions Physics for Medical Entrances Highly Useful for NEET 2013 (Paperback) by Digvijay Singh
~Score More NEET Test Series Pack: 10 Mock Tests on Latest Syllabus & Pattern (Paperback) by AIETS Experts

~ACE Biology for NEET Medical Entrance Exams, Class - 11 and 12 (Set of 2 Volumes) by R C Narang

Hope this helps :-> :->
