Exam Pattern and Syllabus for NEET UG 2013

Candidates having completed HSC course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2013. There will be 180 objective type questions based on these topics. Kinetic Theory, Radioactivity, Oscillations, Chemical Bonding, Hydrocarbons, Genetics and Evolution and Plant Physiology are some of the topics included under the syllabus for NEET UG 2013.


Exam Pattern for NEET UG 2013

NEET UG examination shall be conducted as a single paper test. There will be 180 questions of objective model. Questions will be asked from subject areas of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Questions related to both Botany and Zoology can be expected from the section of Biology. Time duration for the exam is 3 hours. Question paper will be available in English or Hindi.

NEET UG exam is conducted for the selection of candidates to MBBS/BDS courses for the coming academic year. The Central Board of Secondary Education is the authority for conducting the exam. Exam will be based on CBSE syllabus as mentioned above. The test will be competitive and systematic exam preparation is necessary to clear the test. NCERT text books can be used as the main source for exam preparation. Other books prescribed by CBSE for XI and XII class can also be used.
