Re: Can a 2nd dropper is able to give JEE Advanced 2024?
No, having completed your Class 12th in 2022, you are not allowed to appear in JEE Advanced 2024 as a candidate is allowed to appear in the JEE Advanced two times at maximum which includes the attempt made by the candidate in the passing year of Class 12th and that in the year following it irrespective of that fact candidate was able to attempt JEE Advanced in Class 12th passing year.
For more details regarding the JEE Advanced eligibility, you can refer to the link www.jeeadv.ac.in. |

No, you are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced in 2024.
There is maximum two attempts for JEE Advanced and these attempts should be consecutively including first attempt in the year of appearing for the board examination. |

Re: Can a 2nd dropper is able to give JEE Advanced 2024?
You need to take two consecutive attempts at JEE Advanced and there should be no gap between the two attempts. Hence, if you have dropped out in preparation for JEE Advanced, then you will be disappointed because you can not have a gap year between your attempts.
Hence, it will be better to appear for it or your attempt will be wasted. It is very necessary to plan your attempts properly because of these rules. |

Re: Can a 2nd dropper is able to give JEE Advanced 2024?
Yes, a second dropper is eligible to give JEE Advanced in 2024, provided they meet the eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. The eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Advanced may vary slightly from year to year, so it's important to refer to the official notification or brochure for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the general eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced include the following: Performance in JEE Main: Candidates must qualify and secure a position in the specified category-wise cutoff ranks in JEE Main examination. Age Limit: General category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1999. There are age relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Number of Attempts: Candidates are allowed a maximum of two consecutive attempts in consecutive years. It's important to note that these criteria may be subject to change, and it's always advisable to refer to the official JEE Advanced information brochure or website for the most accurate and updated eligibility criteria for a specific year, such as JEE Advanced 2024. |
