dear friend,
you can apply and even give the exam but after passing the exam, you will have to face an interview in which you will have to show your marksheet of graduation. if you think that you will be able to show your marksheet at that time, then only give the exam. otherwise wait for one year......

Hello Friend,
Yes you can apply for BSNL JTO Exam.
You will have to produce your graduation marksheet before the authority if you will pass the exam. if your course will be over by that time then you can apply for the exam.

good to know that you want to write JTO exam...ya sure you can write it but you need to have your final results when the jto results will be out...

ya sure you can write the JTO exams but the syllabus will be based on electronics and communication so better harder to crack....
one of my friend from Btech IT have also cracked...so you can also.......

good to know that you are interested in writing JTO...yes you can definitely write the exam even if you from IT....but you need to study electronics and communication...

Hi

As per the eligibility criteria for the BSNL JTO the candidate will only appeared for the BSNL JTO exam if he/she had passed the final year or has appeared in final year examination.

As you are in 6th sem so you are not eligible for this exam now. After the final you are eligible to apply for the BSNL JTO exam. Candidates having degree in any of the following subjects are eligible to appear for the BSNL JTO exam.

Hi

BSNL JTO exam is conducted every year for the engineering students. Candidates having degree in B.E/B.Tech are eligible for this exam. Candidates having degree in any of the following subjects are eligible for BSNL junior telecom officer exam.

i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

So you can apply after the completion of your graduation. If you have any of the subject mentioned above then you are eligible to apply for BSNL JTO exam.

AGE LIMIT

Candidates applying for the BSNL JTO exam should be between 21-30 years of age.

There is a relaxation in age for the candidates belonging to certain categories:

1. For the SC/ST candidates there is a relaxation of 5 years.
2. For OBC candidates there is a relaxation of 3 years.
3. For PH candidates there is a relaxation of 10 years. If a candidates is PH and from SC/ST then the relaxation for such candidate will be of 15 years. Similarly for the OBC candidates the relaxation is of 3 years.

So a candidate having the above eligibility criteria are eligible to appear for the BSNL JTO exam.

you are eligible to appear for exam but dear you will not be eligible for recruitment in the office as the degree should be in your hand at that time if you pass your exam.
but if you want to apply for BSNL jto exams and you want to have some rough idea of the exam surely you can appear for the exam.

But the Education Qualification for applying in JTO-Telecom,civil,electrical are as follows

Applicant must possess, Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university

Qualification required is a BE degree
you can apply only after you go to final year. that is you can apply next semester but not this semester
