Those who want to become a lecturer have to complete PhD.
PhD degree helps students work as professor or Associate professor .

Interested candidates can apply for UGC-NET exam after their bachelor's degree .
The undergraduate degree can be followed by masters degree , then apply for exam like
CSIR NET
SLET
GATE

Courses that can be persued to become a lecturer
PhD
Masters degree (MA, MSc or M.com)

The eligibility criteria differs depending on the type of lecturership.
Types are
Assistant professor
Associate professor
Professor.
It's important to note that , in order to become a lecturer, candidates are required to have achieved bachelor's and masters degree in that same subject for which they want to apply as a lecturer.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
