hi. i m tanvi grover from punjab. i want to know that can girls apply for nda .if yes thn i want to know its main requirments.
is it neccesarry to do 12 with science
nd i want to know when its forms r submitted .
if nda is nt for girls thn what type of courses can girls do if they had dfone 12 with non-medical
i also want to know y girls cannot join nda.
is it nt a gd occupation for girls or is it dangerous.
plz give me its answer

No girls are not eligible to apply for the National Defence academy examination.Only the male candidates are eligible to apply for the National defence academy examination.

Girls can apply for the Indian Army, Air force and Navy as an officer after the completion of their graduation. After the graduation you can apply through Combined defence academy examination. This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification
Candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
For IMA 19 - 24 years

For NA 19 - 22 years

For AFA 19 - 23 years

For OTA 19 - 25 years

girls are not allow for the NDA exam.

only male candidate are allow for the NDA exam.

other criteria which are required for the NDA exam is given below

1.minimum 12th appearing/completed in science with PCM subjects combination.

2.minimum 60% marks in class 12th exam.

3.age limit 16.5-19 years.

4.minimum height 165cm.

after that you will be eligiable for the UPSC- NDA exam.

no!, it is sad to say that, girls are not eligible for NDA exams .
this exam is only for males candidates, but you can join indian army after gradution, through CDS examination or ssc(short service commission),the age liit for this exams are 19-24,.there are also some years of age relaxations are applicable for back wards candidates.
you can also go through UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME(UES) & DIRECT ENTRY SCHEME((DES).

sorry to say that girls are not eligible for this exam, this exam i only for unmarried males.

there are no any kind of age relaxation for any back word candidates.

No , Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

Dear Friend,
The NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. The exams are known as NDA-I and NDA-II examination.
Girls are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination.
The eligibility criteria for the NDA examination is as under:-

• The candidate should be class 12th passed in any stream for the Army wing.
• The candidate should pursue Science with subject combination Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and the candidate should has got at least 60% marks in aggregate in class 12th.
• The age of the candiate should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.
• Only unmarried male candidate are eligible to apply.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-

> Written Exam
> Interview

No friend, girls are not eligible to appear in NDA exam. The eligibility criteria for NDA exam expanded as National Defense Academy conducted by Union Public Service Commission commonly called as UPSC says that you must be unmarried male candidate finished your 12th std of any stream in any recognized school and your age must be above 16 1/2 and below 19yrs. More over in 12th std science stream is required to join in Indian Navy or Air force through this exam.

Firstly you are not eligible for N.D.A exam.
If you want to join Indian Defence Services then you have to pass graduation.
After that you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E)

C.D.S. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S exam:-
> Pass graduation with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 19year and below 24year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

There are three stages of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Girls cannot apply for NDA exam because the exam is conducted only for unmarried males under the age group 16.5-19 years.

The Eligibility Criteria for a student to be eligible for NDA exam are :

* you must be a citizen of India.

* You must be unmarried and having an age between 16.5-19 years.

* You must have passed 12th with a minimum of 45% marks.

* You must be physicaaly fit.

But friend , if you are really interested in joining the Defense academy then you can fulfill this dream by CDS examination which is also conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Sorry to say that girls are not allowed to sit in the National Defence Services exam as the National Defence Academy is not allowing the girls to apply for the exam as for the exam only male candidates are allowed and the condition is that the candidates should be unmarried also ..

Just after completing high school examination, indian army entrance scheme is
NDA (national defence academy),
but the exam is only for male cadets.
Don't worry, during graduation you will have opportunities to
get in indian air force via three schemes-
*UES- university entry scheme.
*SSC- short service commission.
*CDS-combined defence services.
Generally there are three branches in air force-
1. Flying branch
2. Technical branch.
3. Ground duty branch.
* For flying branch- CDS exam, NCC special entry SSC (only for 14yr./maths background)
Age limit-19-23yr.
* For Technical branch-direct entry scheme, UES. Age limit-18-28yr.

im prerana mai abhi 12 me hu meri height 5.9 hai so mai 12 th ke bad exam de skti hu ki muze mera grajuation complet krkehi upsc-nda ki exam deni pdegi
