All the information regarding NDA exam can be obtained from UPSC's official website.
www.upsc.go.in
Alll the notification of NDA is published in national newspapers and employment news.

There is no NDA exam for girls.
Girls are exempted from NDA exam.

However if you are interested to join defence then there are other ways of making it happen.
Those are:

Combined Defence Services- You can apply only for OTA.
The eligibility is Graduation degree from a recognized university.

University Entry schmene- through this scheme you can join as an
officer after B.Tech from a recognized university.

Short Service commision- Flying Pilot in IAF.
Eligibility- Graduation 60% with PHY, MATHS background in 12th.

Ground Duty Branch in IAF by SSC or permanent commission.

Refer the notification published in news paper and websites(UPSC, IAF)

I am sorry to say that girls are not eligible for the NDA exam conducted by the UPSC board.But girls can go through SSB and even the Officer's Academy after completing your under graduation course.

Dear,

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY.

The minimum eligibility is 10 + 2 pass students with Physics , Chemistry , Maths as

their key subjects in class 12th. ( Minimum % required is 60% ).

Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19 years and minimum height should be 157 cm.

Sorry to say but only unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply for NDA.

Girls are not allowed to give the exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship:
Indian NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

A candidate who is or has been declared by the Commission to be guilty of :

(i) Obtaining support for his candidature by any means, or

(ii) Impersonating, or

(iii) Procuring impersonation by any person, or

(iv) Submitting fabricated documents or ducuments which have been tampered with, or

(v) Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information, or

(vi) Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his candidature for the examination, or

(vii) Using unfair means during the examination, or

(viii) Writing irrelevant matter, including obscene ‘language or pornographic matter, in the script (s), or

(ix) Misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall, or

(x) Harassing or doing bodily harm to the Staff employed by the Commission for the conduct of their examination, or

(xi) Being in possession of or using cellular / mobile phone, pager or any electronic equipment or device or any other equipment capable of being used as a communication device during the examination.

(xii) Violating any of the instructions issued to candidates along with their Admission Certificates permitting them to take the examination, or

(xiii) Attempting to commit or as the case may be abetting the commission of all or any of the acts specified in the foregoing clauses,may in addition to rendering himself liable to criminal prosecution be liable.

(a) To be disqualified by the Commission from the examination for which he is a candidate and / or

(b) To be debarred either permanently or for a specified period

1. By the Commission from any examination or selection held by them;

2. By the Central Government from any employment under them; and

(c) If he is already in service under Government to disciplinary action under the appropriate rules.

Provided that no penalty under this rule shall be imposed except after :

1. Giving the candidate an opportunity of making such representation, in writing as he may wish to make in that behalf; and

2. Taking the representation, if any, submitted by the candidate within the period allowed to him into consideration.

All UPSC exams have a common form. In that form only the candidate has to indicate the exam he wants to enjoy. That form is available in mostly the grand post offices of every city of the country.
