Distance education degree is non issue to appear for Common Admission Test. If you have completed the course fromr recognized university then you are not likely to face any issue.

As you may know, Common Admission Test is conducted for Master of Business Administration. It is the most popular entrance exam for MBA in India. Although there are several entrance exams.

The reason is that Common Admission Test is accepted by the Indian Institutes of Management. The IIMs are the finest and most reputed Business schools in the country. They have consistently topped the list of best MBA collges in India.

Therefore anyone who wants to complete MBA from the finest colleges appear for the Common Admission Test. This test is conducted by the IIMs every year in October. Apart from the Indian Institutes of Management, there are several other reputed colleges that also accepts Common Admission Test.

Eligibility

1. Bachelor degree is required to appear for CAT.

2. 50 percent marks in qualifying course.

3. SC/ST students need 45 percent marks to appear for CAT.

If your percentage is lower than required, it will be impossible to appear for the Common Admission Test. However your dream of pursuing MBA will remain intact. In such scenario you can apply for the Management Aptitude Test which does not has any percentage criteria.
