Hello Sir/Madam, I have give 12th Board exam and I think that I will disqualify in Physics subject. I am really worried as I have already applied for NEET. I need to know that if I fail in Physics Theory then also I am eligible to appear in NEET?

In order to appear in NEET examination, a candidate must have passed in all the subjects of 10 + 2 from a recognised University Board.
If you think that you are going to get to disqualify in physics theory exam then you will not be eligible to appear in NEET examination.

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

1. As per eligibility criteria, 12th appearing board candidates are eligible to apply for NEET exam.

But if a candidate fails in 12th board exam in any subject, then he will not be eligible to get admission in medical colleges even his score is required for admission.

NEET refers to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and for appearing in the same examination, you are required to have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as main subjects with at least 50% ( or 40% in case of candidates from reserved category ) from a recognized board of education.

So, if you are not able to qualify Physics paper in your Class 12th, your candidature for NEET will be disqualified and you will not be able to seek admission in any undergraduate medical degree course through NEET.

So, therefore to seek admission through NEET, you are required to clear your Physics paper either through compartmental examination or by reappearing in the same examination next year.

If you are results are declared before NEET exam and you fail in 12th exam then you will be ineligible for NEET exam.

If, you will fail in the Physics board examination then you are not eligible to get admission in the medical course.

But, you can appear for the examination even if you fail in the paper.

Candidates after clearing the paper through compartmental examination will become eligible to get admission in medical course after NEET.
