i am studying in M.Pharm- 2nd year. can i appear in NET exam-december 2013. which subject pharmacy students should select... as there is no subject directly related to pharmacy..

NET Stands for National Eligibility Test.

It is Conducted twice every year by the University Grants Commission in the months of June & December.NET is held for the post of Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship.

The Essential Requirements for NET Exam:-

You have completed Mater degree(post graduation) in any steam from recognized Institute/University with of 55% marks(50% for ST/SC/PH) are eligible for UGC NET exam.

Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this Exam

Additional information of NET Exam:-

1) There is no negative marking .

2) All papers are in MCQ type .

3) You must have crossed the minimum cut off marks in .

4)Top 15% candidate (After Qualifying marks) are eligible to get NET score card .

You have completed M.Pharm degree so you are eligible for UGC NET Exam .You can choose life science subject as a written exam .

I have completed M.A in English but I want to appear for maths subject in net exam...am I eligible for the same? Plz reply
