Can I appear for UGC NET exam after doing M.A in Economics?


Hello sir, i wants to know that i have done m.a. In economics. But i got re-apear inone paper of m.a. Now it is clear and i got 56% in m. A. Can i apear for ugc net exam

Yes, you can apply for UGC NET, as you have cleared all your backlogs in PG course. Master degree holders with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for NET. The test is conducted by UGC in the month of June and December. There is no upper age limit for NET (lectureship). In case of research fellow, the upper age limit is 28 years.
