Civil Service Examination is conducted for selection as an I.A.S Officer. It is conducted by UPSC every year. Examination is conducted in three stages.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

The course offered in correspondence from a recognised university is valid to appear in the examination.

The age limit is 21-32 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit to appear for the examination.

So, you are eligible to appear in the examination after completion of graduation. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

To apply for UPSC Civil Services examination ( often known as IAS examination ), the minimum education required is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

So, being a student of graduation degree course even in distance i.e; correspondence mode, you are eligible to apply for the UPSC CSE examination after completion of your graduation degree course if your university is approved for offering distance mode education.

For more detailed information regarding the Civil Services examination eligibility, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
