hello sir....i am from arunachal pradesh so can i apply assam enterance exam.

Hi dear..

Assam JAT (Joint Admission Test ) is conducted every year for the first year of Under Graduate Professional courses. Students for all the Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Regional Dental College and Ayurvedic College of the State of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota) are selected through JAT Assam.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is as given :-

1) Be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam,

2) Pass the Higher Secondary Examination of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or its equivalent, in which the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have been cleared in the same sitting.

3) Pass the qualifying Examination securing at least 50% & (45% in case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks in the aggregate of the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the same sitting.


As you are not a permanent resident of Assam, it is not possible for you to apply to the exam.

But you can apply other exams like IIT JEE , AIEEE, IPU- CET, WBJEE, BITS, Orissa JEE etc,
