Dear,

To apply for CID you just need to have a graduation degree no matter in which field you have done your graduation. You have to write a test i.e. CGPE (Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam). This exam is conducted by SSC every year.

Eligibility to appear for this exam:

1. Age should be between 18 to 27 year old.
2. You should be graduate. If you have done masters in criminology then you will have more chances for selection.

The exam will consist of two sections:

• General question.
• English question.

Both the sections will carry 200 marks each. If you get selected in written test then you will be called for an interview process that will be of 100 marks. After qualifying interview you will be finally selected.

CID is the central Investigation Department under the government of india solve the complex cases .

For joining the CID after the 12th class you have to write the civil service entrance exam which has been conducted by the UPSC department every year.

Eligibility for the CID :

Educational Qualification: you should be passed the 12th with atleast 50% marks from any discipline.
age limit : age must be below the 25 years.
Natiaonlity: Indian citizen.

selection process:
1. Written test
2.Intelligence test
3.Personality interview

so for the joining the CID you have to qualify the entrance exam and interview.

Current affairs by read the daily newspapers
General knowledge
Aptitude
English
