I complete BScIT through. Sikkim Manipal university. Can i apply for the post PSI in Karnataka

1.For getting job as a karnataka police sub inspector ,you will have to appear in your state level poloice selection exam or in state level civil services exams.

For getting jobs the essential details are as follows:-

Educational qualification:-

1.Degree in any stream from recognized university.

2.The degree must be approved from the UGC.

Marks required:-

1.60% and above for the general and obc candidates.

2.50% and above for the sc/st candidates.

Age details :-

1.Minimum age should be 20 years.

2.Maximum age required 25 years.

Age relaxation will be given as per government norms.

The details for it is as follows:-

1.3 years for OBC candidates.

2.5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection process:-

1.Written test.

2.Physical test.

3.Medical test.

The candidates who will finally pass in all the stages will be finally selected.

There should not be any physcal fitness problems such as night/color blindness.

Should have the problems of hydrocell.

Physical test will include:-

1.JUMPING

2.WALKING

3.RUNNING

4.PUSHING etc

The subordinate Police Service of Karnataka State consists of the following ranks:-

(i) Police Inspector

(ii) Sub-Inspector of Police

(iii) Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police

(iv) Head Constable

(v) Police Constable

For police sub inspector, generally the SSC usually take entrance test, or some time it is conducted by the state department

Minimum eligibility is 3 year any type of degree

Physically fit required.

Yes, you can apply for the post of PSI after completing B.Sc in IT.

The eligibility criteria are that the candidate needs to complete graduation from a recognized university and you have done so.
